<p class=”ds-markdown-paragraph”>Picked up a second hand SUV last month and mechanically it’s solid, but the previous owner clearly didn’t care much about the inside. Stains on the seats, crumbs in every crevice, a faint smell I can’t identify and probably don’t want to, and the carpets look like they’ve never been touched. Exterior isn’t much better, dull paint and some scuffs I’d like to at least minimize. I don’t need a showroom finish, I just want it to feel like my car rather than someone else’s leftovers. I’ve been looking around for affordable interior and exterior detailing for cars in ICAD since that’s on my route to work and I can drop it off easily. But I’m wary of cheap places that might make things worse, I’ve heard horror stories about harsh chemicals damaging trim. Has anyone had a neglected interior properly restored without spending a fortune?</p>
