I once thought any fragrance oil could be used directly on the skin, but I later learned that this isn’t always the case. Now I check the product details, ingredients, and recommended dilution before using one. I also prefer looking for an IFRA Certified Fragrance Oil because it gives me more confidence about the fragrance being made according to safety guidelines. A small patch test is also something I never skip now.
